Installing NTC33 on Android and Windows: what to check first
NTC33 is not in Google Play. Why it comes as two Android apps plus a Windows build, what the install prompts mean, and the checks worth doing first.
NTC33, also sold as Newtown Casino, is not in Google Play or the App Store. Like almost every app casino used in Malaysia, it is side-loaded: you install a file by hand that an agent gives you. The old version of this page was a set of download buttons. They are gone. This site hosts no app files and links to none.
What this page can do is explain how NTC33 is packaged, what your phone or PC will ask when you install it, and the checks worth doing so that what you install is really the game. For what the games look like once you are in, see the NTC33 platform guide.
How NTC33 is packaged
The old page listed four ways in:
- an Android app for live dealer games
- a separate Android app for slots
- a Windows installer for PC
- a browser version at an operator web address, which we do not repeat
No iPhone build was listed. The split between slot and live apps is unusual; LPE88 and Rollex11 were packaged the same way. Both apps use the same NTC33 ID, as far as we know, so you only need the one that matches what you play. Current builds may differ; ask your agent what they offer today.
Where the file should come from
Get the app from the agent who issues your ID, and nowhere else. The agent knows which build works with their server, and if something goes wrong there is one person to ask. Casino APKs shared in Facebook groups, Telegram channels or "all apps in one place" download sites can be modified before they reach you, and a modified app can capture the password you type into it.
If a download page asks for your name, phone number or bank details before it hands over a file, close it. You can get an NTC33 ID and the current install link from the provider this site works with.
Android: the unknown-apps prompt
On current Android versions, permission to install from outside Google Play is given per app, usually to your browser or file manager:
- Open the link from your agent and let the APK download.
- Tap the file. Android warns that your browser is not allowed to install apps.
- Tap Settings in that warning and switch on "Allow from this source".
- Go back and tap Install.
- Afterwards, switch the permission off again.
Google Play Protect may flag the app as unknown. Read the warning instead of tapping past it, and do not turn Play Protect off to make it go away.
iPhone: if you are given one
We know of no NTC33 iPhone app, but agents sometimes offer one. Any such app would be signed with an enterprise certificate. On first launch iOS shows "Untrusted Enterprise Developer". To allow it you go to Settings, General, VPN & Device Management, tap the developer under Enterprise App, and tap Trust.
That step matters. You are letting apps from an unknown company run on your phone, and iOS warns that this "may allow access to your data". Apple revokes these certificates when it finds them used for public apps, and the app then stops opening. Your credit sits on the platform's server against your ID, so a reinstall should not lose it, but screenshot your balance while the app still works.
Windows
The PC build was a Windows .exe. SmartScreen will usually warn about an unrecognised app. If you install it, use a standard (not administrator) account, scan the file first, and uninstall it when you stop playing.
Checks before and after install
- Permissions. A casino app has no reason to read SMS, contacts or notifications, or to ask for accessibility access. Deny and delete if it does.
- Banking. Never type bank logins or a TAC into a game app or share one with anyone, including your agent. Top-ups and cuci go through the agent.
- Updates. Keep Android, iOS and Windows up to date, and don't root or jailbreak a phone to make an app work.

Before you play

Questions from the field
Do I need both NTC33 Android apps?
No. One is for slots and one is for live dealer tables. Install only the one you will use, which also means one less side-loaded app on your phone.
Can I play NTC33 on an iPhone?
The old page listed no iPhone build, only Android, Windows and a browser version. Ask your agent what is available now. If you are given an iPhone app, expect the Trust step described below.
