Fruit Mania is the LPE88 take on the classic fruit machine, drawn in thick cartoon lines on a lime-green background. A grinning sun peeks in from the bottom-left corner, giant cherries hang on the right, and a fruit-headed mascot with a drink lurks in the top-left.

The symbols

Each symbol sits on its own white tile with a splash of colour behind it:

  • a sun with a sly grin
  • red cherries on a stem
  • a dark blue plum
  • a bunch of purple grapes
  • a green apple
  • a lemon and an orange
  • a strawberry
  • a tall red cocktail with a straw and a lemon slice

In the capture above, cocktail glasses land on reels three and four, grapes line up across the middle row on four reels and lemons fill the bottom row. None of that is on the active line, which is why nothing pays: only line 1 is played here, and the tab marked "1" on the left edge shows which row that is.

The jackpot bar

A black banner under the Fruit Mania logo reads "Progressive Jackpot RM124,040.57". It is the only jackpot display in the game, and it creeps up slightly between captures. The screenshots don't say whether it is won by a symbol combination, at random, or only at certain bets.

The bet

This is where Fruit Mania differs from most of the LPE88 captures we have. The bottom bar shows LINES 1, LINE BET RM1.25 and TOTAL BET RM1.25. Across the six captures the balance falls from RM35.30 to RM31.55, about three ringgit in a handful of spins. That is still a small amount, but at this line bet a session moves a lot faster than at one sen.

The round "Hold for Autoplay" button and the swipe-to-spin hint are the same as on other LPE88 phone games.

What we could not see

Why is the bet higher than on other LPE88 slots here?

The line bet in these captures is RM1.25 instead of RM0.01. The game may use a larger minimum, or the player chose it; we could not see the bet options. Check before you spin.
