Beach Life: a 20-line summer slot full of ice creams

Beach Life is about as sunny as a slot gets. The reels are white, the frame is lined with coloured starfish, and a strip of sea and palm trees runs across the top. Most of the grid is taken up by frozen desserts rather than card letters.

The dessert symbols

The common symbols are five sweets: a two-colour ice lolly, a chocolate-dipped bar with a strawberry, a blue soft-serve cone with grapes, a pink ice-cream cone with a cherry and mint, and a slice of layered cake with an orange on top. They fill most positions in every screenshot, so expect them to make up most small wins.

Among them are the character symbols. The hero shows a surfer on a yellow board riding a wave, and a scuba diver in a mask appears in other captures.

The wild and the bonus

Two symbols carry labels. The treasure chest in the screenshot above, pink and gold with a blue ribbon, is marked BONUS. We did not catch enough of them together to see what they trigger.

The wild is a cheerful sun wearing sunglasses, with WILD written in green under it. Here two of them sit on the centre reel. The screens don't include a rules page, so check the in-game help for which symbols it replaces.

The bet bar

The bottom bar is styled like a sandy beach, with MAX, LINES, LINE BET, AUTO START and SPIN buttons. In every capture the settings are 1 line and a line bet of 1, so TOTAL BET is 1. The numbered markers either side of the reels go up to 20. Above, the RANDOM, MINOR and MAJOR counters move slightly between screenshots, as they do on every Pussy888 slot.

What we could not see

There is no paytable, no free-games screen and no payout figure here. The old page said the character symbols bring "very substantial" rewards; the screens don't back that up either way.
