Tally Ho takes its name from the old radio call of fighter pilots. The backdrop is a grey sky full of twin-engine propeller planes with roundels on their sides, and the reels carry a pilot in a leather flying helmet, a woman in a service uniform and cap, a medal, a map with navigation tools, and card letters in a stencilled military style. The game shows it as "Tally Ho"; the old page title spelled it "Tally's Ho".

This is one of the more informative help screens on 3Win8:

  • Pilot (wild): appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for all symbols except scatters.
  • Roundel (scatter): pays 1, 2, 20 or 200 for two to five, multiplied by total bet.
  • Free games: 3 or more roundels anywhere give 25 free games. All prizes are tripled and the feature can be retriggered.
  • Progressive jackpot: can be won at the end of any game, at random. The note adds that the random jackpot contribution is no more than 1.5% of total return to player.
  • Other rules: line wins are multiplied by bet per line, only the highest win on each line pays, and the maximum win per paid spin is 50,000 times the bet per line.

Lines and bet

The hero shot shows 20 lines at 0.10, a 2.00 spin. Instead of MINOR and MAJOR boxes, Tally Ho has a single Random Jackpot counter above the reels, reading 11535.37 there.

The second capture is set to 5 lines at 0.04, a 0.20 spin, and shows a 0.40 win on line 4. The pilot wild and a cockpit symbol both sit on the bottom row. That is a win of twice the stake, the kind that happens now and then, not every few spins.
