Pan Jin Lian: a 9-line slot with characters from Water Margin

Pan Jin Lian takes its name from a character in Water Margin, one of the four classic Chinese novels, and uses the novel's cast as its picture symbols. On KingKong Casino it sits in the older jackpot frame, like Mamamia. The reels stand on a Chinese stage with red curtains, carved lattice windows and a green tiled roof, and the title on the paytable is written as 潘金蓮.
Symbols and paytable
The paytable, in multiples of the line bet:
- A young woman with flowers in her hair: 1,000 for five, 200 for four, 50 for three.
- A long-haired man in a purple robe: 400, 80, 20.
- A stout man in a green hat: 200, 40, 15.
- A man in a blue cap: 160, 30, 10.
- A brown wine jar with a red label: 100, 20, 7.
- A pair of embroidered shoes: 60, 15, 5.
- A round painted fan: 40, 10, 3.
- A jewelled hairpin: 20, 5, 2.
The wild is a gold emblem carrying the characters 金蓮. It "can substitute for any symbols except Bonus Symbol". The bonus is a small house with BONUS written across it: "3 or more Bonus symbols to trigger FREE GAME", and five of them pay 500. The line chart shows 9 lines, and the note under the prices says wins pay from left to right and from right to left.
In this capture the reels grey out apart from the winning symbols: a gold wild and two wine jars on the bottom row. A grey BONUS house also sits on reel 4. The message bar reads "Congratulation!!! You win 7".
Bet panel and jackpots
The bottom panel matches the rest of the older KingKong frame: SPINS (with an infinity sign for auto spins), LINES 9, LINE BET 1, TOTAL BET 9 and WIN. The buttons are INFO, AUTO PLAY, BET, MAX BET, GAMBLE and SPIN, and a tip says holding SPIN turns on Turbo Mode.
The MAJOR, RANDOM and MINOR counters change between captures (MINOR reads 7,621 in one and 26,835 in another), so they are shared pools. The screens don't explain how they pay.
