Tai Shang Lao Jun on KingKong: a Taoist-themed slot with 50 lines
A 50-line Gaming World slot on four rows, built around the Taoist sage Taishang Laojun. What the reels show and what our captures leave out.
Tai Shang Lao Jun is named after Taishang Laojun, the deified Laozi of Taoism. On KingKong Casino it runs on the Gaming World frame, but with a taller grid than most of the family: five reels and four rows, with 50 lines. The logo in the top corner shows the white-bearded sage in orange and white robes, and the reels sit in a dark temple hall with a bagua emblem over the top.
The reels
The first capture's message bar reads "Betting 0.01 on each of the 50 lines", with a total bet of 0.50. The line counters on both sides read 50.
The picture symbols, as far as we can make out:
- the sage Laojun himself, with a long white beard and a white sash;
- a boy attendant in blue and white, hands folded;
- a gold octagonal bagua disc with a yin-yang in the centre;
- a folded book marked 道德經, the Tao Te Ching;
- a glowing orange orb on a golden lotus stand;
- a small red furnace with glowing eyes.
The card letters are 9, 10, J, Q and K in green, red, blue and gold.
Here four Ks run along the bottom row from reel 1 to reel 4, and the message bar reads "WIN PAID 0.75". The WINNING counters on both sides read 2, so a second line paid on the same spin.
