Samurai Heroes is a cartoon take on feudal Japan. The reels sit inside a paper scroll in a room with shoji screens, and the characters are drawn in a round, chibi style with big heads and small bodies.
The characters
The screenshot above shows the main cast: a geisha with a red and pink hairpiece and a fan, a young samurai with a topknot, a stern sumo wrestler, and a ninja in a green hood. Two tiles carry a red tengu-style mask with a long nose and white beard.
The lower symbols are weapons and props: silver shuriken, a pair of katanas crossed on a red stand, and a white war fan printed with a red sun and characters.
Special symbols
The BONUS symbol is a red torii gate in front of a snowy Mount Fuji, with START written above it. It lands on the last reel in the first screenshot.
The WILD is drawn as a tall pagoda standing on blue waves with WILD spelled out vertically, and it covers the full height of a reel. In the capture above, two of them sit side by side on reels 3 and 4, and the round's win reaches 180 at a total bet of 25.
Lines and bet panel
Coloured flag markers on both sides of the reels number the lines from 1 to 25. The panel has TOTAL BET with minus and plus buttons (100 in the first screenshot, then 25), MAX BET, a WIN box, AUTO SPIN and SPIN; there is no FAST button. A TOKYO badge sits in the corner, and the four Live22 jackpot boxes run across the top.
What we could not see
The bonus game behind the torii gate, any free-spin round and the paytable aren't in these screenshots. The old page described a map where your warrior fights through opponents; we couldn't confirm that, so check the in-game info screen.
