Battle World: betting on heroes around a mountain ring
Not a slot but a betting wheel. Pick a character and colour, press Start and watch the marker run around the ring. How the board and odds work on screen.
Battle World is one of Mega888's non-slot games. It works like the animal and car-badge betting wheels found in many app casinos: you put chips on the character you think the marker will stop on, then press START and watch.
The board
The lower half of the screen is a grid of twelve betting boxes. Four cartoon characters appear in three colours each (red, green and yellow): a hero in a gold headband who looks like the Monkey King, a girl with red hair buns, a green creature with a crescent on its head, and a horned bull-demon. Each box has two numbers: the odds on top, your chips below.
In the hero screenshot the red row reads 31, 15, 8 and 5, the green row 40, 20, 11 and 7, and the yellow row 35, 17, 10 and 6. On the right sit three more boxes, BANK 2, TIE 9 and PLAYER 2, which work as a separate side bet.
The bottom bar has a CHIPS selector (set to 100 here), BALANCE, BET and WIN, and a START button.
The ring
The upper half is a mountain landscape wrapped in a ring of round character tokens. When you press START a figure on a cloud flies around, the tokens dim, and one is picked. In the screenshot above the result lands on a yellow hero token, shown in a disc marked 35 on four sides, with a TIE label alongside. A JACKPOT counter on the left, 811000 at that moment, keeps changing.
The odds move
Compare the two boards and the numbers change. In this later round the red row reads 25, 12, 7 and 4, the yellow row 46, 23, 13 and 8. A bet of 100 sits on the green crescent creature at 11, and a CLEAR BETS button has appeared next to START. Check the odds each round before you place chips.
The screenshots do not show a rules page or how the jackpot is awarded, so we will leave that there.

Questions from the field
Do the odds stay the same every round?
No. In our screenshots the numbers on the betting boxes change between rounds, for example the red hero box shows 31 in one round and 25 in another.
What are Bank, Tie and Player?
A side bet that runs alongside the character result, with its own odds (2, 9 and 2 in the screenshots). The screen does not explain how that result is decided.
