Wu Lu Cai Shen: five gods of wealth and five jackpot boxes

Wu Lu Cai Shen means, roughly, the gods of wealth of the five roads. The slot puts five versions of Cai Shen on the reels, one in each colour, and gives each colour its own jackpot. The frame is red with a Chinese knot and a string of firecrackers down the left side, and a pink pig peeks out beside the SPIN button.

Symbols and colours

The Cai Shen figures are round, smiling cartoon gods holding scrolls or gold ingots. They come in red, gold (with a darker face), green, purple and blue. The other symbols are gold pots full of ingots, a coin-like symbol, and card letters and numbers (A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9) in red, gold, blue and green.

The jackpot column

Down the right side, under the words "5 OF A KIND JACKPOT", are five boxes, each with a Cai Shen of one colour beside it. In the hero screenshot, at a line bet of RM1, they read:

  • red: RM37,656.15
  • gold: RM3,970.45
  • green: RM1,536.28
  • purple: RM752.58
  • blue: RM400.38

At RM0.20 a line, the same boxes read RM2,253.76 down to RM120.24. The figures follow your bet. A player at low stakes is not playing for the big number shown to someone betting more. Five of the same figure is also a rare result; these are displays, not something to plan around.

The banner in the screenshot above says "3 or more [coin symbol] anywhere trigger the Unlimited Cai Shen Free Games". We have no capture of the free games, so we cannot tell you what "unlimited" means in practice.

The hero screenshot also shows a message under the reels: "Insufficient balance for the requested bet". The player had set RM15 a spin with not enough credit. That is the game stopping a bet you cannot cover; it is also a sign that RM1 a line is a steep setting for this title.

Why do the jackpot figures change between screenshots?

They follow the bet. At RM1 a line the top box reads RM37,656.15; at RM0.20 a line it reads RM2,253.76. A lower bet shows a smaller jackpot.

Do I need five of a kind on a line for a jackpot?

The panel says '5 of a kind jackpot' next to the five coloured figures. The screens do not show whether it must be on a line or anywhere, so check INFO.
