Monkey King takes its cast from Journey to the West. The frame is the plain Play8oy one, and the backdrop is a misty cliff with trees and sea, as if the reels were set on Flower Fruit Mountain.

Who is on the reels

The hero screenshot shows the full cast. The Monkey King himself wears a golden crown with long pheasant feathers. Next to him is a blue, armoured bull demon with gold horns. Two heroines follow, one with a dark crown and a fur collar, one with white hair and a pink flower. The lower symbols are objects from the story: a green leaf-shaped gourd, a red gourd, the golden headband and a bundle of bamboo scrolls.

The rules open with nine small line diagrams and the note that wins are paid separately from left to right and right to left. The odds table then lists every symbol:

  • Monkey King: 1000, 200, 50 for five, four, three, and 5000 if the whole screen shows him.
  • Bull demon: 400, 80, 20, all same 2500.
  • Crowned heroine: 200, 40, 15, all same 1000.
  • White-haired heroine: 160, 30, 10, all same 500.
  • Green gourd, red gourd, headband and scrolls step down from 100 to 20 for five.

A purple bar under the table reads: win only paid once if there are five same symbols on the paylines. At the bottom, "General WILD Symbol" shows a monkey tile that replaces all symbols except BONUS, with a small diagram of wild tiles changing a row. Here three golden headbands light up on line 8 and the strip reads "You won a total of 30". A red BONUS tile is visible on the fourth reel, dimmed because it was not part of the win. TOTAL PLAY was 90, so this spin still cost 60 more than it paid.

What is the 'All same' row?

It is the pay for a full screen of one symbol, for example 5000 for all Monkey King. The rules add that such a win is paid only once, not again for each line.

What does the BONUS symbol do?
