Golden Chicken, 金鸡 (Jin Ji) in the logo, is a Chinese New Year style slot on SKY777. The reels sit on a deep red background patterned with gold roosters, and the symbols are festive: a brass gong, bundles of firecrackers marked 福, red envelopes spilling coins, a round red lantern, a golden bonus egg, and card letters from 9 to A.

Layout and bet panel

The grid is five reels with four rows, and it pays on 1024 ways rather than fixed lines. A box on the left reads 1024 WAYS. The bottom bar shows WAYS 1024, BET 1, TOTAL BET 0.40, WIN, DENOMINATION 0.01 and BALANCE. The first paytable screen covers three special symbols:

  • Wild. A small child in a cap and red jacket, pointing. It substitutes for everything except the bonus and scatter, and appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only.
  • Bonus. A gold egg. Bonus symbols on reel 1 and reel 5 trigger a bonus game. The screens we have do not show what that game looks like.
  • Scatter. A rooster. Five pay 15, four pay 8, three pay 2, multiplied by the total bet, and three or more start the free spins.

The second page lists the regular symbols. A gold pot of coins marked 福 is the top one: 2000 for five, down to 12 for two. The firecracker-and-lantern pair pays 500 for five, and the gong-and-red-envelope pair 150. A and K pay 100 for five, Q and J 75, and 10 and 9 pay 40.

  • 3, 4 or 5 scatters on any reels give 8, 12 or 20 free spins.
  • All free spins are played at the bet level of the triggering spin.
  • In each free spin, one of reels 2, 3 or 4 is filled with a stacked wild.
  • Free games can be won again during free spins, but not with 5 scatters.

A full wild reel in every free spin is where this game's bigger wins come from. In the base game it will feel quieter.
