Baccarat on Mega888 is a single-player table: no dealer, no other seats, just you and the software. The felt is the same blue used for the platform's other card games, and everything you can bet on is printed on it with its payout.

The table

Two large boxes carry the main bets: a blue PLAYER box marked with the Chinese character 闲 and a red BANKER box marked 庄. Between them sits a grid of six side bets, each with its odds written in:

  • Player Pair 11:1 and Banker Pair 11:1
  • Perfect Pair 25:1 and Either Pair 5:1
  • Big 0.54:1 and Small 1.5:1

Above the grid a banner reads "THE 9 FOR 1". The screen does not explain it, so we will not guess what it refers to. A board in the top left shows the table limits, MIN 1 and MAX 1000, and a chip tray sits at the top.

Along the bottom are the chips you can place: 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1000. The CURRENT BALANCE box is in the lower left, and a History panel on the right fills in with the results of past hands.

In the second screenshot a 0.5 chip sits on Player and a 1 chip on Small, and the balance has dropped from 50.89 to 49.39: the stake comes off as soon as the cards are dealt. Player has a 10 and a 7, Banker a 4 and a 2.

The result screen shows the scores in purple circles, Player 7 and Banker 6, with PLAYER and SMALL in large letters and "YOU WIN : 3" under the chips. A red New Game button clears the table for the next hand, and the first dot appears on the History board.

Before you play

The main bets are simple, and the side bets are where the high numbers are. Those pay more because they come up less often. Perfect Pair at 25:1 is the long shot on this table. What do Big and Small mean here?

They are bets on how many cards the round uses in total. Small wins when neither hand draws a third card, Big when at least one does, which is why Small pays more.
