Vacation Station Deluxe: the airport version with Turbo Mode
The Deluxe version of Vacation Station moves the tourist to an airport, redraws the symbols in 3D and adds Auto Play and Turbo Mode.
Vacation Station Deluxe is the remake of Vacation Station. The idea is unchanged: a nine-symbol grid of ways to travel and eight lines. What changes is the look. The tourist is now a tall 3D figure with red hair, sunglasses, a flowery shirt, shorts and a camera round his neck, standing in front of an airport terminal with two suitcases. The name sits on a green sign with a palm tree and the word Deluxe in italics.
The grid
Nine round symbols fill a three-by-three grid, drawn from a set of transport icons: a yellow motorbike, a red sports car, a sailing boat, an orange bus, a small jet, a pink high-speed train, a green submarine, a battered suitcase covered in stickers, a hot-air balloon and a purple cruise ship.
The line numbers are around the edges in small grey boxes: 1, 2 and 3 for the rows on the left, 6, 7 and 8 above the columns, and 4 and 5 in the corners for the diagonals. In the captures lines 1 and 4 are lit in purple, which fits the bet display.
The screenshot above has two buses side by side on the bottom row, stopped by a motorbike on the third reel. Even three buses there would only count if line 3 were active, and in this capture it is not. It is a good example of why the number of active lines matters.
The panel
A blue box beside the tourist shows WIN (RM0), BET (RM0.06) and LINE BET (RM0.03): two lines at RM0.03 each. Under it is a coin value box (RM0.01) with an arrow button, and a TURBO MODE button.
The main buttons along the bottom look like chunky arcade keys: a green INFO, then ALL LINES, BET ONE, BET MAX, AUTO PLAY and a pink SPIN that turns into STOP.
What we did not see
There is no paytable or bonus round in the screenshots. INFO should open the prize list; read it before you raise the bet.
