Aladdin: lamps, carpets and a free-game expanding symbol
An Arabian Nights slot with ornate letters and a lamp that does double duty as wild and free-game trigger. What the paytable says and what the reels look like.
Aladdin puts its reels inside a red-and-gold palace hall, with flaming torches on the pillars either side and heaps of treasure in the background of the rules page. The letter symbols are drawn in a curly, Arabian-style script, so it can take a moment to recognise A, K, Q, J and 10.
The symbols
The hero screenshot shows the curly letters, a golden magic lamp in a purple frame, a scowling bandit in a red turban with a blue face scarf, a red flying carpet and a curved scimitar in its sheath. The rules page adds the top symbol: a young hero in a white turban, framed in gold.
The paytable
For five, four, three and two:
- Hero in white turban: 1000, 300, 100, 10.
- Bandit: 600, 200, 75, 6.
- Flying carpet: 400, 150, 50, 4.
- Scimitar: 200, 100, 25, 2.
- Letters: A 150, K 100, Q 75, J 50 and 10 at 25 for five.
The lamp sits in the middle panel. It pays 100, 40 and 2, substitutes for all symbols, and three or more of it anywhere start the FREE GAME. At the start of the free games, one special expanding symbol is picked at random; the example shown is the 10. During the free games that symbol expands to cover three positions on its reel and pays in any position on the lines played. The 20 line patterns are drawn underneath.
A win on screen
In this capture a trail of sparkles outlines the winning symbols, including a K, a lamp and several letters, and the WIN box reads 62 against a TOTAL PLAY of 20. The paytable screenshot was taken straight after, which is why it also shows 62.
