Captain Roger: a sea-going pirate slot with a galleon scatter
A bright pirate slot on open sea. The odds table is one of the easiest on Play8oy to read, and the captain is the symbol to watch.
Captain Roger sets its reels on open water under a blue sky, in a silver frame with coloured line markers on both sides. The style is bright and cartoonish, a little closer to a children's book than the other Play8oy pirate games.
The crew and their kit
In the hero screenshot you can pick out a monkey in a red bandana and striped shirt, a red-haired female pirate in a skull bandana, a red parrot, a brass spyglass, a gold coin stamped with a skull, a ship's cannon, a pair of crossed flintlock pistols and an iron anchor. A tall tile with a dark galleon under full sail is labelled SCATTER.
The odds table
The table gives the pays for one to five of a kind:
- Captain in a black tricorn: 5000, 500, 50, 5, and 2 for a single one.
- Hook-handed pirate with a red beard: 2500, 250, 25, 4.
- Female pirate: 1000, 100, 20, 3.
- Monkey: 1000, 100, 20, 2.
- Parrot and cannon: 300, 50, 10.
- Gold coin and pistols: 200, 25, 5.
- Anchor and spyglass: 50, 10, 3.
The captain is the only symbol that pays for a single appearance, and he pays twice as much for five as the next symbol.
A win on screen
In this capture two female pirates are framed in pink on line 8, and the strip reads "You won a total of 30". That matches 3 per line for two of a kind at a bet of 10. With TOTAL PLAY at 90, the spin still lost 60 credits.
