Father vs Zombies: a cartoon zombie slot with a settings menu worth knowing

Father vs Zombies is a light-hearted horror slot on SKY777. The reels sit in front of a ruined street at dusk, and the reels carry cartoon zombies, including a zombie boy in a baseball cap and a snarling zombie head. The low symbols are Q, K and A letters built from nailed, blood-spattered planks. It looks gory in thumbnails, but the style is closer to a children's cartoon than a horror film.

Reels, lines and the bet panel

The game uses five reels with three rows and 20 lines, marked by a "20 LINES" tag on both sides of the grid. The bottom bar is slightly different from most SKY777 slots: DENOMINATION (0.01), LINE (20), BET (1), TOTAL BET (0.20) and WIN, with a large red SPIN button on the right and a small FAST SPIN tab above it. The text under SPIN reads "hold for auto spin".

At bet 1 and denomination 0.01 a spin costs 0.20 in the game's MPV units. That is the smallest setting shown.

The lines screen draws all twenty patterns and adds two rules: only the highest win on each line pays, and wins pay left to right.

Wild and scatter

The paytable page above covers the two special symbols, and it explains the title: the wild is the father, a blond, moustached man in a red headband, and the scatter is a blonde girl. The wild appears on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 only and substitutes for every symbol except the scatter. Three or more scatters trigger the free spins feature.

In the capture above the feature has been triggered and a gold-framed box reads "CONGRATULATION! 8 FREE GAMES". A small green counter in the top right tracks the free games left. The paytable does not say whether more scatters give more spins, and we only saw the 8-game award, so we won't claim other numbers.

The settings menu

The settings window, opened from the menu icon, holds five rows: Balance, Game Help, Bet History, Background Music and Sound. Bet History is the useful one; it shows each spin you made and what it cost.

What we could not see

The screenshots show the four zombie characters on a separate paytable page, but not the full payout list for the letters, and no return figure. Open Game Help before you play.
