Ugga Bugga: ten sets of three reels and one hold decision
An unusual NTC33 slot that plays ten three-reel games side by side, with a hold step between two spins. How the screens work.
Ugga Bugga looks nothing like the other slots on NTC33. Instead of one grid, the screen is a wooden frame holding ten small games of three reels each, stacked in two columns of five. The logo, in yellow jungle lettering on the left, sits above three wooden boards for LINE BET, BET and WIN.
How a round works
A round is two spins. The first spin only fills the bottom-left set of three reels. Under that set are three HOLD buttons, one per reel. You choose which symbols to keep, then spin again. The held symbols are copied into the same reel of all ten sets, and every unheld reel spins independently.
The screenshot above shows the moment between the two spins. Nine sets are blank, and the first shows a drum with a small figure on top, a straw hut and an orange mask. The HOLD buttons sit ready underneath.
In the hero screenshot every held reel has been copied across: all ten sets show the same fruit bowl, mask and hut, with the HOLD tags lit under the first set. Holding all three reels turns the second spin into a copy of the first, so each set wins or loses together.
The bet
The boards on the left read LINE BET RM0.05 and BET RM0.50 in all three captures. Each reel set is one line, so the bet is always ten times the line bet. The coin value at the bottom right (RM0.01, with minus and plus) changes the line bet.
The buttons along the bottom are carved stone slabs: PAYTABLE, BET ONE, BET MAX and SPIN. There is no autoplay button in view, which makes sense, since every round needs a hold decision.
What we could not see
None of the screenshots opens the paytable, so we don't know what the fruit bowl, mask, hut or drum pay. Press PAYTABLE before your first round. The hold choice can feel like skill, but the second spin is still random for every reel you don't hold.

Why is the bet ten times the line bet?
Each of the ten reel sets counts as one line. At RM0.05 a line, all ten cost RM0.50 per round.
What does HOLD do?
After the first spin you can hold symbols in the first set. The held symbols are copied into the same position in all ten sets, and the unheld reels spin again.
